Art appraisals are typically recommended for insurance purposes and cost $35 for the first piece of art, whereas subsequent pieces appraised at the same time cost $15 each. Appraisals are completed and sent out within eight weeks of being submitted.

Park West Gallery art appraisals are based upon criteria including the physical state of the artwork, prices offered at other galleries, and additional pricing data related to the artwork. The gallery does not consider prices provided over the internet or by third party auctions when making appraisals and is unable to provide refunds for completed appraisals.

Pino: Italian Artist Who Found Fame in American Publishing

Based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, Massimo Dangelico is the founder and president of Classic Publications, Inc., a publisher of fine art originals, prints, and sculptures. Massimo Dangelico and his company represent some of today’s most popular and talented artists, including Pino.

Born in Bari, Italy, Guiseppe “Pino” Dangelico (1939-2010) completed training at the Art Institute of Bari and the Academy of Brea in Milan, where he honed his skills by painting nudes and figures. After achieving success in Italy, Pino moved to the United States, where he was discovered by the Borghi Gallery, which hosted several exhibitions of his work in Boston and New York.

His early paintings were noticed by book publishers, and in 1980 he was commissioned by Zebra Books to produce a book cover. He soon became an in-demand artist for many of the major publishers, and ultimately illustrated more than 3,000 book covers. He also continued to paint fine art oils, often set on the Mediterranean beaches of his youth. He is highly regarded for his ability to capture expressions, movements, and the deep contemplation of his subjects.

Today, his work is available exclusively through pinoart.com, which is managed by Classic Publications, Inc.
